In recent times, there has been concern among Bing AI users regarding the potential shift from its current free availability. Many users find the AI chatbot provided by Microsoft highly advantageous, as it leverages the knowledge and capabilities of ChatGPT-4, a service normally offered by OpenAI through a subscription.
Reports from Windows Latest sparked questions when Microsoft unveiled the Bing Chat Enterprise, aimed at businesses, leading some users to speculate that access to Bing.com’s artificial intelligence might soon come with a cost.
However, Microsoft issued a clear statement to address these concerns, reassuring users that Bing AI will continue to be accessible for free. A Microsoft engineer involved in the project reaffirmed this stance, stating, “The usage of Bing AI will remain free for Bing.com, Microsoft Edge’s side panel, Windows Copilot, and other integrated platforms.”
Furthermore, Microsoft is working to bring “no search” support to Bing AI, which will make it behave more like the popular ChatGPT.
